Future Colossal partnered with Sport Equity Lab to launch a larger-than-life experience at the African Games in Accra, Ghana. The installation highlighted the achievements of 6 African Giants in different Olympic sports by creating a living mosaic picturing them in their element, outperforming almost any athlete in their sport.

Victory in Unity creates a sense of community by allowing visitors to snap their photo and send it to the giant mosaic in less than a second. Their photograph becomes one of the living cells that form the athlete's image and creates a work of art. These living cells are created with a custom voronoi algorithm that gives the mosaic its organic, ever-changing quality.
This experience used a 15' high by 10' wide outdoor LED screen, a state-of-the-art computer, custom made graphics and software, an interactive button, and a 31.5" 4k Ultra HD screen.
A small part of the Future Colossal team had the chance to fly to Accra to install this wonderful experience, as well as take part in the activities at the event. They met some of the athletes being featured in the experience.
